Felmont 1^st 1,000 AC
Beast’s Day seemed too personal this year. The townsfolk still held their fake battles against the Beastmen of ages gone by, but the fact that there was a tribe of orcs living just outside of town in the wizard’s tower did not make them feel comfortable doing so, and the usually loud boisterous chattel was toned down immensely.

Felmont 15^th 1,000 AC – Day of Valarius
I spent the day outside with Adriana today, away from work. It was nice to just have time to relax in the sun with my wife again. We had planned to have a picnic near the forest-line again this year, but when we arrived there, I was sure I could see large creatures moving through the growth. We opted to head back to the house and spend the day just outside of it, near my weapons in case.

Nobody else seemed too keen on celebrating the day of love with all the missing animals happening, and the big wolves and orcs being seen in the forest line. it is a shame.

Felmont 24-27^th 1,000 AC
Over the last four days we have had shooting stars. I hope it is not a bad omen.

Felmont 27^th 1,000 AC
Today more of the Goats & Sheep went missing from farmer that were wide awake one moment, and fast asleep the next. Every one of them claims they were hexed.

Klarmont 1^st 1,000 AC
Today was the Traladaran “Day of the Straw Men” A celebration where people write their sins, or things that they regret from the last year on a piece of parchment, wrap it in the middle of a doll made of straw, and set it ablaze to start fresh.

Adriana, convinced me to join the ceremony. I felt silly, but I did join.

Klarmont 17^th 1,000 AC
Our purple star returned last night. I named it Adrianastar after my beloved.

Klarmont 27^th 1,000 AC
Alvis was caught sleeping on the job. Half the swine went missing. He swears that he was hexed or cursed. One pig carcass was found nearby.

Klarmont 28^th 1,000 AC
Tonight was the Night of Fire Celebration. Everyone was more on alert than normal during this festival. I was even asked to guard the children during their Annual treasure hunt.

Let me explain this obscure tradition. During the day, the adults take “treasures” and hide them in the nearby forest. These treasures traditionally were actual riches, but in this village, they are Silver Crona, in trees or under bushes, and other obscure locations. There is also one “Hoard” which was a chest of sweet treats and toys. The children need to hunt around to find these things during the night. Traditionally the village would hide things in the nearby forest to promote the adventurous spirit of youth, this year nobody was leaving the village due to the missing animals, and the fear they feel. As I said, they were so scared, that Boris asked me stand guard with a few of the men to keep the children safe in the village during the festivities. I did this in hopes of being accepted more.

Yarthmont 28^th 1,000 AC
I am starting to think these Shooting star showers have something to do with the animal disappearances. Almost as much as the New moon does. We had another shooting star shower last night, and like clockwork the Podsk farm lost most of their cows. No trail or trace.

Here are more rumors I had heard

Thaddigren Dentiata has a female slave who is really a vampire in disguise. He lets her kill any unwelcome guests.
Thaddigren Dentiata practices horrid rites involving the sacrifices of black goats, black hens, and even people.
The orcs of Thaddigren Dentiata have been conditioned to freeze whenever they hear the words, “The Sun is Rising.”
